CJ Logistics and Saudi Arabia-based Beez Logistics sign an MoU
In a calculated bid to break into the Saudi Arabian logistics industry, CJ Logistics declared on May 16 that it had inked a Logistics Project Collaboration MOU with Beez Logistics, a regional logistics firm in Saudi Arabia.
Since 2017, Beez Logistics, with its headquarters in Riyadh, the Saudi Arabian capital, has offered a full range of logistics services. The firm provides services such as contract logistics, cold chain logistics, and last-mile delivery to a number of sectors, including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and health and beauty (H&B).
In order to jointly grow their logistics operations in Saudi Arabia, this partnership intends to make use of the networks, skills, technology, and logistics experience of both businesses.
Both parties are thinking about different ways to work together to provide delivery services related to the running of Saudi GDC, an iHerb regional logistics hub for the Middle East.
This center's debut is planned for 2024. Global e-commerce enterprises use a system known as a "global distribution center" to store their goods at logistical hubs in nations near their target markets and rapidly ship them as orders come in.
According to CJ Logistics, utilizing Beez Logistics' skills will make it possible to offer delivery services in Saudi Arabia that are specifically adapted to the local environment. Saudi Arabia often has high temperatures and little rainfall because it is a desert location.
It will be feasible to transport goods safely and at the proper temperature throughout Saudi Arabia using the cold chain technology and last-mile delivery network of Beez Logistics.
Furthermore, it is anticipated that strong cooperation with Beez Logistics, which has a well-established local business network and a well-known brand, would assist CJ Logistics in aggressively implementing localization plans. CJ Logistics hopes to increase business prospects in logistics not just with the Saudi government but also with regional businesses through this relationship and network building.
Given the popularity of K-Beauty in the Middle East, especially in Saudi Arabia, Mussaad Almalohi, CEO of Beez Logistics, indicated a great deal of interest in e-commerce logistics connected to the Korean health and beauty sector.
Almalohi was allegedly also quite pleased with the cutting-edge logistics technology used in a variety of logistical industries, including the smart packaging systems and the Gonjiam mega hub, which sorts packages shipped statewide.
