Supertech plans new project on same site after Twin towers demolition

According to its chairman R K Arora, the real estate business, Supertech Ltd. plans to construct a new housing project at the same location and will ask for a reimbursement of land fees and other expenses if the plan is rejected by the authorities. The deconstruction of the company's twin buildings resulted in a loss of roughly Rs 500 crores.

Two towers nearly 100 meters tall, Apex and Ceyane, were demolished at 2:30 PM on August 28 in compliance with a Supreme Court decision that said it was illegal for them to have been built inside the grounds of the Emerald Court. More than 3,700 kg of explosives were used in this operation.

After the debris has been cleared away, according to Arora, the business plans to submit a request to the Noida Building Authority for the construction of a housing project and, if necessary, seek authorization from the RWA of Emerald Court.

"The Noida administration gave us 14 acres of land in Noida Sector 93 A to construct the group home complex. The twin towers were constructed on a 2-acre plot of ground out of the overall parcel of land. We will submit a design to build a group housing complex on the 2-acre company-owned property as soon as the two towers have been torn down, Arora told PTI.

Arora said that the company will surely offer a plan, following which the authority will make the decision, in response to the question of how confident the company is in getting approval.

He continued, "If required, we will also secure the approval of the RWA of Emerald Court.

Arora's response to the RWA's desire to build a temple on the property was as follows: "The land needs to be held by the RWA in order to be developed. The land belongs to us. The chairman claims that the 2-acre tract of land is not green space.

In the event that permission to construct a housing project is rejected, he asserted that Supertech would seek the authority for a refund of the land cost.
