Egypt’s president stresses on economic growth as population increases

Egypt has seen an upward trend in its population and the president has now stressed catering to that population by taking the budget to $1trn.

President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi confirmed that it will need to work with its budget and bring it to the trillion group to suit the growing population of Egypt. Only then it is possible for the country to cater to the required and most official services for them.

On Tuesday, the president was addressing the audience at the “Upper Egypt Week” where he was talking about the new ammonia nitrate, a urea plant in Kima, Aswan, in addition to the development project of Aswan Railway Station.

He also asserted that Egypt has been moving towards establishing a new state and it will do it by focusing on the state's performance with citizens and reflecting it on the people’s success ratio.

The country is also developing many complexes including the Kima complex which is reportedly cost at EGP 11.6bn.

He further explained that the state is also attempting developmental plan work on the railway sector and also making trains in a more efficient and standard way so that it can cater to the services to the Egyptian citizens and not just be limited to the tourists.

Other than that, the president also focused on directing a regular maintenance activity for the train facilities and continued to inspect the facilities being provided in the train periodically.
